For over 50 years, Phil has been solving problems in industrial automation, going all the way back to when the Programmable Logic Controller first changed the game in 1969. His obsession? Building controls that are simple to install, easy to operate, and built to last. He holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, but his real credential is decades of figuring out what actually works in the field.
Outside of work, Phil is a father of four and grandfather of four, and if you catch him in the right mood, he'll play you "I've Been Working on the Railroad" on the harmonica. It's the only song he knows, and he's not apologizing for it.
